DENNIS CISTERNA'S RE-ENTRY INTO ART
It has been a very long and winding road that has taken me on this journey through art. I began oil painting when I was just 5 when I was accepted into a special art program in Ventura County. Unfortunately, a traumatic accident while at the program caused me to drop out and resulted in me not painting again for nearly 30 years.
OK, the accident wasn't that bad...I got scratched in the face by the owner's cat. Still though, horrifying to a five year old and I didn't pick up a paint brush for a long time.
Through the encouragement and support of my family and friends, I have renewed my passion for the arts and this website is the product of those efforts thus far. I hope you enjoy my work.
